Official Title: Magnesium Sulphate in Perinatal Asphyxia: A Randomized Placebo Controlled Trial.
Brief Summary: Magnesium sulphate has been shown to be neuroprotective. The investigators hypothesize that magnesium sulphate infusion given to babies with perinatal asphyxia should improve outcome in the immediate neonatal period.
