Official Title: Acupuncture to Prevent Postoperative Paralytic Ileus
Brief Summary: The purpose of this study is to determine if acupuncture is effective in preventing prolonged postoperative paralysis of the gastrointestinal tract among patients undergoing colostomy/ileostomy closure.
