Radiologists are medical physicians that specialize in medical imaging. They examine images such as computer tomography scans, mammograms, ultrasounds or x-rays ordered from other professionals to help diagnose treatments or conditions. They may be responsible for examining patients and prescribing the medication directly. Often, they work directly with patients' primary doctors.
